We are looking for a HR Generalist to join our HR team in Columbus, OH office. You will play a central part of a human resources team that is committed to improving and contributing to the advancement and development of our greatest assets – our employees! 

What you can expect as the major duties and responsibilities:

  • Participates in the development, implementation, and delivery of internal training programs
  • Manages and track employee participation in online learning within the learning management system
  • Participates in the orientation of newly hired employees and ensures the processing of required documentation. Ensures compliance with applicable federal and state laws and requirements throughout the hiring process
  • Assists in the maintenance of job descriptions
  • Assists with employment verifications
  • Participates in professional organizations and maintains knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and local statutes.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

You may be a good fit if you have these skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field with extensive coursework in human resources management and practices
  • 2 - 5 years of Human Resource Generalist Experience
  • SHRM-SCP, SHRM-CP or HRCI Certified a plus
  • Prior experience establishing practices and training within DEI space
  • Adequate knowledge and experience with learning management systems, e-learning platforms, instructional design experience, and web delivery tools
  • Demonstrated understanding of HR compliance, laws, rules, regulations, and practices
  • Excellent organizational skills / attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written
