Burgess & Niple is looking for a Civil Engineer to join our team in Cincinnati. This position is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated individual to join our local team and utilize their technical and leadership expertise to lead and complete interesting and challenging projects.

B&N Civil Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Participate in delivering civil/site engineering projects related design and construction plan production 
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Architectural design staff
  • Learn and develop your skills related to civil site engineering design
  • Perform as a lead civil engineer, prepare reports, construction plans, specification and cost estimates for site developments, public works, and utility infrastructure projects
  • Participate in project field work for the collection of data, site assessments, field verification, design solutions and related functions
  • Participate in proposal preparation and lead day-to-day project activities

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited engineering program
  • EI/EIT certification or ability to obtain within 6 months from this application
  • 0-4 years of related experience in site design and/or land development and site utilities design
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD Civil 3D required
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated and adaptable, including the ability to use virtual collaboration tools
