Are you motivated, energetic and ready to support experienced engineers? Burgess Niple is seeking a Business Assistant to join our multi-discipline engineering consulting firm in our Cincinnati office.

B&N Business Assistant Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of duties and tasks related to office administration and operations for our Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana Operations Division
  • Support the Operations Director and Cincinnati Directors in achieving business and staff development goals, along with culture/office environment objectives
  • Working with other B&N staff, coordinate client and in-house meetings, including scheduling, setup, distribution of agenda, meeting announcements, and catering
  • Gather, interpret, and analyze information for reports and proposals
  • Professional document preparation and/or oversight
  • Liaison with accounting department for business operations invoicing and billing requests
  • May assist with marketing and business development functions 

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred
  • 7+ years of relevant experience
  • Confident personality with the ability to manage a variety of duties
  • Strong work ethic with a “hands-on” and team-oriented attitude
  • Strong organizational, planning skills and ability to coordinate the activities of various team members and to prioritize tasks when faced with multiple deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, and Adobe Suite
  • Experience with accounting and client management software a plus
