Civil Engineer – Stormwater/Utilities/Site Development

Come work with senior-level professionals at an established A/E firm that values employee input and collaboration. Burgess & Niple is looking for a Civil Engineer – Stormwater/Utilities/Site Development to join our team in Cincinnati, OH.

B&N Civil Engineer – Stormwater/Utilities/Site Development Responsibilities:

• Design of civil engineering projects with components including site planning and design, grading and drainage, utilities (gas, sanitary, storm, water), roadways and pavement, sanitary and storm sewer rehab.
• Collaborate on wide range of project types include site development in conjunction with architectural groups, treatment plant site engineering in conjunction with water/wastewater groups. water tank rehabilitation, storm and sanitary sewer modeling
• Develop drainage design documentation reports and technical memorandums.
• Participate in preparation of proposals, oral interviews and letters of interest as requested.
• Able to provide guidance and technical oversight to engineering interns and CADD technicians.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science degree from an ABET accredited civil engineering program or equivalent
• EI or EIT certification or ability to obtain within 6 months
• Minimum of 2-5  years of related experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and experience with Civil3D, GIS, and GeoBIM is a plus
• Storm and sanitary modeling software is a plus
• Ability to adapt to new technology
• Motivated and engaged in career development and utilization of technology to deliver for clients
• Desire to be apart of a collaborative culture
