Burgess & Niple is currently seeking a Civil Designer to join our multi-discipline engineering consulting firm in Cincinnati. This position is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our local team and utilize their design and technical expertise on interesting and challenging projects.

B&N Civil Designer Responsibilities:

• Assist with field investigations and design solutions for sewer system backups on properties located in Hamilton County, OH
• Prepare site or subdivision designs using industry standard software such as Civil 3D
• Provide civil engineering design support for civil site and utility infrastructure type projects

Skills and Qualifications:

• Associate degree of Civil Engineering Technology or equivalent required
• 0-4 years of related experience preferred
• Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Office software program
• Understanding of creation and compilation of construction drawings using AutoCAD or Civil3D
• Highly motivated to apply Civil Engineering Tech education
• Strong communication skills, quality control, and organization skills are essential to the success of this role
