Burgess & Niple is looking for an entry-level Civil Engineer to join team in Cincinnati, OH working on a variety of utility infrastructure projects at various stages of development, from preliminary design to construction.

B&N Civil Engineer Responsibilities:

  • You will have the opportunity to be part of a project team, working with and learning from experienced civil engineers while assisting with field investigation and design solutions for sanitary sewers
  • You want to grow and develop skills for preliminary site design, utility coordination, regulatory compliance and final civil plan design
  • You like a wide variety of tasks and projects, assisting senior engineers by developing CAD and basic civil site engineering analysis, design and plan production
  • Change is an exciting word to you. You thrive in an organization that constantly adapts and evolves with client needs

 Skills & Abilities:

  • You hold a Bachelor of Science degree from an ABET accredited program in civil engineering or are on track to complete by May 2023
  • 0-2 years of related civil engineering experience, co-op/internship experience with water distribution, storm sewer or sanitary sewer is a bonus
  • Engineer Intern (EI) registration required or ability to obtain within 6 months
  • Excellent communication skills and a keen eye for details
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and Civil3D software
