Come work with senior-level professionals at an established A/E firm that values employee input and collaboration. Burgess & Niple is looking for an entry level Roadway Engineer to join our team in Cincinnati.

B&N Roadway Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, design and plan documents for roadway and transportation related projects such as reports, construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates
  • Preliminary engineering and final design tasks for items such as horizontal and vertical geometry, roadside design, grading, surface modeling, cross sections, or construction details
  • Work in a collaborative project team setting, interacting, and coordinating between multiple disciplines and governing agencies

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited program or ability to attain within 6 months of applying
  • Engineer Intern registration in the state of Ohio or ability to attain within 6 months of applying
  • Related transportation design and internship/co-op experience desired
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, MicroStation and/or Open Roads is a plus
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and adaptable, including the capability to learn virtual collaboration tools
