Senior Roadway Engineer

• Minimum Experience: 15 years
• Education: BSCE
• Registration: Professional Engineer (PE)
• Required Skills: MicroStation; Microsoft Office; Roadway Design

Coordinate and lead roadway design projects with our team of transportation engineers delivering projects ranging from major highway reconstruction to local intersection improvement with our Cincinnati team.

B&N Senior Roadway Engineer Responsibilities:

• Participate as an integral member of the project team on design and plan document preparation of roadway and transportation related projects for ODOT and local counties or municipalities
• Coordinate and supervise the design and analysis work of technicians, designers, and junior level engineers
• Assist with proposal preparation and client interaction
• Monitor performance indicators, budgets, schedules, and manage risk
• Maintain quality control of the work product and effectively coach staff to successfully complete projects on time and within budget

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering is required
• PE in the State of Ohio or ability to become registered through reciprocity
• 15+ years of related ODOT roadway/transportation design experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office required
• Experience with Microstation required, OpenRoads experience a plus
• Strong interpersonal & written communication skills
• Self-motivated and adaptable, including the capability to learn virtual collaboration tools
