B&N Water/Wastewater Engineer, Entry Level Responsibilities:

  • Perform tasks related to the design and construction of water/wastewater and utility infrastructure processes and facilities, including CAD drafting
  • Prepare design calculations, drawings, specifications, design analysis and construction cost estimates
  • Perform construction related services including construction observation, shop drawing reviews, response to requests for information, and perform field inspections, as needed
  • Provide support for project managers and senior design engineers
  • Be available to travel to other offices to provide support as needed

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering from an ABET accredited program required
  • Working towards EI/EIT certification with a desire to become a PE
  • 0-2 years of related water/wastewater experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, experience with AutoCAD and REVIT is a plus
  • Self-motivated and adaptable, including the capability to utilize virtual collaboration tools
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaborate in a team environment
