What a Senior Traffic Engineer job is all about:

  • You have the opportunity to be part of a project team, collaborating with industry leaders in transportation
  • You’ll be a leader on studies and capacity analysis projects
  • You’ll prepare traffic impact studies and traffic analysis for ITD and Idaho local governments
  • You’ll continue to develop skills in traffic engineering and technical ability
  • You’ll engage with the transportation industry to identify market opportunities and build strategic business development relationships

 What you need to make an impact:  

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an ABET accredited civil engineering program
  • 20+ years of related civil engineering experience
  • PE Certification required
  • Excellent communication skills and willingness to collaborate
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, HCS, VISSIM is required
  • Familiarity with traffic software such as TransModeler is strongly preferred
  • Strong interest in transportation engineering and motivated to improve the efficiency and safety of transportation systems
  • Self-motivated and adaptable, tech savvy that includes the capability to learn virtual collaboration tools
  • Ability to work remotely based on business operations and the needs of the firm
