Ready to make an impact on your career, client projects and the community? Burgess & Niple is currently seeking a Roadway Engineer to join our North Austin, Texas office.

What you can expect as the major duties and responsibilities:

  • You jump at the opportunity to collaborate with Professional Engineers and transportation design staff
  • You want to participate in delivering professional services related to all aspects of transportation design to a wide variety of clients throughout Texas including the Texas Department of Transportation, Regional Mobility Authorities and Tolling Authorities, Municipal Planning Organizations, Councils of Governments and cities and counties throughout the state
  • You have a passion for learning and developing your skills creating conventional plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates
  • Change is not scary word to you. You thrive in an organization that constantly adapts and evolves with client needs
  • You enjoy interacting with clients, governing agencies, and the public

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an ABET accredited civil engineering program
  • EI in State of Texas, or ability to obtain within 6 months of application
  • 4+ years of related roadway design experience
  • Excellent communication skills and detail oriented
  • Strong Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microstation, Geopak or equivalent CAD software
