Ready to make an impact on your career, client projects and the community? B&N is currently seeking a Civil Engineering Intern for the Summer Semester 2022 to join our multi-discipline team in Austin, TX.

What you can expect as major duties and learning outcomes:

  • Work with experienced engineers on a wide variety of projects including transportation design, water resources, wastewater solutions and general civil projects.  
  • Assist with CAD design, site investigations, research and design development.
  • Learn and develop AutoCAD software skills under the direction of civil engineers.
  • Get involved as part of the project team through both office and field assignments.

You may be a good fit if you have these skills and qualifications:

  • You are a current student in good academic standing pursuing a bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering in an ABET accredited program and have completed at least one year of your undergraduate degree
  • You have a strong interest in civil engineering design projects; previous internships are a plus
  • You can’t wait to learn and develop civil/environmental engineering skills and gain autonomy as your capabilities progress
  • You want to flex your skills with Microsoft Office; experience with AutoCAD is a plus

Typical work schedule is Monday – Friday, 30 – 40 hours per week. Housing and transportation to/from work is the responsibility of the intern, parking is provided.
