Come work with senior-level professionals at an established A/E firm that values employee input and collaboration. Burgess & Niple is looking for an entry level Transportation Engineer, Entry Level to join our team in Mentor.

B&N Transportation Engineer, Entry Level Responsibilities:

  • Be part of a project team, collaborating and learning from experienced civil Professional Engineers
  • Work on design of roadway improvements on local and state transportation projects
  • Be involved in plan preparation, geometric design, pavement rehabilitation, drainage design, utility design, traffic control and signal design, and maintenance of traffic design

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited program or the ability to attain within 6 months of applying
  • Engineer Intern registration in the state of Ohio or ability to attain within 6 months of applying
  • Related transportation design and internship co-op experience desired
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, MicroStation and/or AutoCAD is a plus
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and adaptable, including the capability to learn virtual collaboration tools
