Burgess & Niple Acquires Maryland Surveying Firm

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Engineering and architectural firm, Burgess & Niple, Inc., (B&N), headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, acquired Central Maryland Surveyors, Inc. (CMS) on August 22, 2003.

Established in 1989, CMS provides surveying services to Mid-Atlantic regional clients from its Davidsonville, Maryland office. CMS will move staff and equipment to the B&N Rockville, Maryland office effective Monday, August 25, 2003.

“This strategic acquisition provides CMS clients and staff with greater resources while extending quality surveying services to Burgess & Niple clients in the Mid-Atlantic region,” said Terrence Sack, PE, B&N President.
