Burgess & Niple Elects Davis President

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Burgess & Niple, Inc. (B&N) is pleased to announce that Kenneth R. Davis, Jr., PE, was elected President of the firm effective July 12, 2007. Ken succeeds Terrence A. Sack, PE, who passed away in April 2007.

Ken joined the firm in 1970, was elected an owner in 1990, and has served seven one-year terms on the firm’s Board of Directors. He most recently held the position of Director of Engineering and Architectural Services Operations for the Columbus, Ohio, headquarters office.

During his tenure with B&N, Ken has directed the planning and design of numerous water and wastewater treatment projects. His experience also includes upground storage reservoirs and water treatment plants, as well as preliminary studies for expansions, filter renovations, and lime sludge treatment and disposal projects.

Ken earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from The Ohio State University and is a registered professional engineer (PE) in Arizona, Connecticut, Michigan, Mississippi, and Ohio.
