In honor of ADA Day, Burgess & Niple hosted “Walk in My World” at its Columbus office. This immersive walking audit was designed to raise awareness about transportation barriers faced by people striving to move through their community with dignity and independence. In partnership with Pilot Dogs, participants stepped into the shoes of personas including a wheelchair user, a visually impaired resident, an injured athlete and an active senior, navigating six real-world scenarios such as unprotected crossings, bus shelters and construction zones.
