This position will work on a variety of interesting projects and offers growth for professional and personal development split between office and in the field.

B&N Geologist Responsibilities

• Field responsibilities include oversight of subsurface geologic investigations, including borehole and well installation, sampling, pumping tests/determination of aquifer characteristics
• Office responsibilities include some proposal and grant preparation, task and project management, data analysis, and report preparation
• 70/30 split on office/field work
• Expectation of growth and expansion of responsibilities to support growth of the Pennsylvania environmental practice including client interface and business development

Skills & Qualifications

• Master of Science in Geology, Hydrogeology or other related earth science  
• 5-10 years of experience, prior experience in preparing, reviewing and interpreting geologic data
• Knowledge of Pennsylvania environmental regulations, including Act 2 is desired
• PA PG certification or in progress to achieve certification
• Proficient in use of ESRI or other industry-standard GIS tools
• Experience with groundwater flow and fate and transport models is ideal, and AutoCAD basic functionality is a plus
• Groundwater modeling is desired
• A valid driver's license with acceptable driving history is required
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions and traverse uneven terrain 
• Effective written/verbal communication and organization/analytical skills
• Regional travel required for some assignments

Travel arrangements to and from work assignments including airfare, hotel, and meals are reimbursed. All safety training, equipment, tools and tech are provided.
