Ready to make an impact on your career, client projects and the community? B&N is currently seeking a Bridge Design Co-op to join our bridge team in our Boise, Idaho office.

What you can expect as the major duties and responsibilities:

  • You will have the opportunity to be part of a project team, collaborating and learning from experienced bridge design engineers
  • You will work on bridge design and rehabilitation projects for local and state transportation clients
  • You will be involved in plan preparation, calculations, and bridge design tasks
  • You will get the opportunity to make an impact right away - As an organization, we reward innovation and are always looking for new perspectives

Skills and Qualifications:

  • You are a current student in good academic standing pursuing a degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited college or university and have completed at least two years of your undergraduate degree
  • Related civil transportation experience and/or internship or co-op a plus.
  • Good communication skills, organization skills, team player, and detail oriented.
  • Software experience with Microsoft Excel and AutoCAD or MicroStation; FEM software experience a plus
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated and adaptable, including the capability to learn virtual collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams
