B&N On the Job:
They hardly know it’s there …
One of the biggest challenges for growing communities is providing efficient wastewater
systems without creating eye sores or unpleasant odors in the surrounding area.
B&N has long balanced such competing concerns with highly successful results.
One of the most recent examples is the Alum Creek Water Reclamation Facility in
Delaware County, Ohio. Working with Jones and Henry Engineers, B&N planned
and designed the facility with a capacity of 10 million gallons per day. The
facility operates with cutting edge technology while having minimum impact on the
surrounding upscale community. This was accomplished with attractive and unobtrusive
architecture, complementary building materials and carefully planned landscaping.
