City of Dublin, Ohio
In Dublin, Ohio, Burgess & Niple (B&N) performed a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) at a former Wendy’s Restaurant site. The assessment was conducted as part of an adjacent road widening and roundabout construction project.
The restaurant site had previously been used for commercial purposes dating back to the early 1930s. However, the site was not listed in historical environmental databases or government records.
Previous underground storage tank (UST) properties were located directly south and to the northeast of the property. Both of these properties had No Further Action (NFA) status on the releases reported.
The property located directly east was listed as a Voluntary Action Program (VAP) site. A file review at the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Central District Office was conducted. It was found that two VAP assessments had been performed for the eastern adjacent property and both were observed to have NFA status.
The assessment completed by B&N found no adverse environmental conditions associated with the Wendy’s property.
