City of Akron
B&N was retained by the City of Akron for the design of a water booster station to serve the growing area of Montrose to the west.
The facility is equipped with three 1,500-gpm split-case horizontal pumps and a 150 kW standby power system. Located in a corporate park, the structure’s architecture complements the surrounding commercial buildings.
Bidding services, construction management, and on-site observation also were provided. The construction cost was $1,100,000.
