Challenges and Lessons Learned from Cleaning and Inspecting 860 Miles of Sewer Pipe
The City of Akron developed a Capacity, Management, Operation and Maintenance (CMOM) Program for their sewer system which included an aggressive schedule for inspecting and cleaning 860 miles of combined and sanitary sewers and 19,000 manholes. The USEPA requires that this work be completed on a five year cycle.
This presentation will cover the challenges and lessons learned by the project team while completing the cleaning and inspection program.
