COLUMBUS, Ohio – Heritage Ohio recently named the Chilo Lock #34 Park and Visitor Center Museum “Best Public Improvement Project.” The award was presented to the Clermont County Park District at a recent ceremony.
Burgess & Niple provided planning, design services and construction administration for the reuse of the historic Chilo Lock and Dam #34 operations building. B&N also helped secure funding for the adaptive reuse of this former powerhouse located on the banks of the Ohio River.
Heritage Ohio is a statewide, not-for-profit group that promotes historic preservation and downtown revitalization as well as protecting buildings, landscapes, art, artifacts and landmarks.
